How is your donation to the Global Forest Fund used?

All FEE members are invited to submit project proposals that demonstrate a strong balance between educating as many children and planting as many trees as possible. Proposals are reviewed by a selection committee made up of experts in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and projects are awarded based on a set of rigorous criteria.

Working with our members means drawing on decades of collaboration and expertise to deliver the maximum impact with the funds received. Of the funds raised, 90% goes directly towards the projects, while the remaining 10% are used to cover the administrative work we do.

MEET THE SELECTION COMMITTEE

The Global Forest Fund Selection Committee is comprised of professionals both internal and external to the Foundation for Environmental Education. Each expert is highly respected in their field, be that forestry, education or both.

The purpose of the Selection Committee is to provide an impartial assessment of all project proposals submitted to the Global Forest Fund and use their combined knowledge and experience to select those projects which will deliver the greatest impact with the awarded funds.
