In 2022, FEE is proud to be partnering with The World Relay to support Running Out of Time; a 7,200 km, 38-day relay race, crossing 18 countries from Glasgow to Sharm el-Sheikh - host of the 2022 UN Climate Change Conference (COP27).

Running Out of Time is world’s longest ever non-stop relay to take place in the name of climate action!

A portion of the funds raised through donations for Running Out of Time will be awarded to the Global Forest Fund.

In 2020, the Foundation for Environmental Education announced a three-year Global Forest Fund project in Nairobi and Kiambu counties in Kenya, to be implemented by Foundation for Environmental Education member organisation Kenya Organisation for Environmental Education (KOEE). The “Tree Planting as a Pathway to Green Growth and Sustainability” project will run from November 2020 – November 2023 and involve over 1,500 students and 50 teachers from Nairobi Academy and Githiga Boys High School.
